whats the secret to finding those 10lb monsters here in fl?
John I’m not a huge bass fisherman, but I’ve caught my fair share of them. I’ve always discovered with any fish out there, the bigger the bait the bigger the fish. This doesnt mean the big ones wont hit smaller bait though! My saying to that is elephants eat peanuts right? So big fish will eat small bait, but using larger bait increases the odds of getting the big ones beacause you eleminate the smaller ones by having to big of bait. I also believe you will have your best luck finding these larger bass when they are on beds. They tend be quite a bit more agressive and very protective of their beds. So find them on beds and flip your bait at them and hold on when they hit. Best of luck out there John. Bent rods and tight lines my friend. Get out and get a line wet !
